Team O'Neil Summer RallyCross, July 17, 2004What could be better than a rallycross held on a professionally-groomed course? Winning said event, for starters. But the Team O'Neil Summer RallyCross was well worth it, win or lose. Hosted by the Team O'Neil Car Control Center in Dalton, New Hampshire (way up north, almost in lovely Canada), this summer event was held on the O'Neil school's clay surface, which lends itself to a fast course. The skies looked suspect early, but the sun emerged by race time and the day was beautiful. With Carmine now in Virginia, Adam took the Talon alone. His recent autocross experiences hurt a bit, as he tried to figure out the Talon on dirt versus the light Miata on tarmac (ooh, I sound like a rally pro!), but it provided for crowd entertainment if nothing else. Still plenty of fun, though. Next time, we'll see what happens. All trademarks are the rights of their respective holders. Contact the Webmaster if you have any questions, comments or complaints.
